Trendz Analytics v1.15.x upgrade instructions for Docker

Upgrading Trendz Analytics to 1.15.1

NOTE:
If you are using Trendz behind HAProxy, make sure that the paths /trendz/ and /apiTrendz/ are routed to the Trendz backend instead of /trendz and /apiTrendz.
Additionally, we highly recommend adding Trendz to the ThingsBoard HAProxy configuration so that Trendz is accessible from the same domain as ThingsBoard.

Trendz Analytics service upgrade

1. Create a dump of your database:

   1
    docker compose exec postgres sh -c "pg_dump -U postgres trendz > /var/lib/postgresql/data/trendz_dump"
   

2. Change the version of the thingsboard/trendz and thingsboard/trendz-python-executor in the docker-compose.yml file to the 1.15.1.

3. Execute the following commands:

   1

   4
    docker pull thingsboard/trendz:1.15.1
    docker compose stop trendz
    docker compose run --rm -e UPGRADE_TRENDZ=true trendz
    docker compose up -d
   

Sync Trendz with ThingsBoard

After upgrade, it’s necessary to sync Trendz with ThingsBoard. You can find out how to do it here.

Upgrading Trendz Analytics to latest 1.15.0 (1.15.0.4)

NOTE:
