ThingsBoard PE v4.2.x upgrade instructions for Docker

Upgrading ThingsBoard PE to 4.2.1.1

NOTE:
These upgrade steps are applicable for ThingsBoard version 4.2.1PE. In order to upgrade to 4.2.1.1PE you need to upgrade to 4.2.1PE first.

ThingsBoard PE service upgrade

  1. Change the version of the thingsboard/tb-pe-node and thingsboard/tb-web-report in the docker-compose.yml file to the 4.2.1.1PE.

  2. Execute the following commands:

  docker pull thingsboard/tb-pe-node:4.2.1.1PE
  docker pull thingsboard/tb-web-report:4.2.1.1PE
  docker compose stop thingsboard-pe
  docker compose up -d

These upgrade steps are applicable for ThingsBoard version 4.1.xPE. In order to upgrade to 4.2PE you need to upgrade to 4.1PE first.

ThingsBoard PE service upgrade

  1. Change the version of the thingsboard/tb-pe-node and thingsboard/tb-web-report in the docker-compose.yml file to the 4.2.0PE.

  2. Execute the following commands:
